"My son started therapy at Sunny Steps in June of 2023 after his previous therapist expressed that she “wasn’t a good fit for him”, which frustrated me significantly. My biggest concern was his speech and feeding, and also having the pressure of finding a therapist that would meet his needs; this was a task. No one had room for my little guy, or we were added to waiting lists. Time was of the essence for me, as I wanted him to have an early start. After not finding much success on my own, I reached out to my coordinator, and she recommended Nancy King. When I spoke with Nancy for the first time via phone, her confidence made me feel welcomed and at ease. She listened to my concerns and questions, and our journey has helped reach a lot of goals we set together. Here we are today, February of 2024, and there has been a huge transformation with my son. Nancy and her staff truly care and have the passion to see the outcomes of each little one they work with, especially my little one. My son came to Nancy nonverbal and NOT eating any solids. He now walks into each session announcing his presence, saying “hello", "bye- bye" and our favorite phrases "hi baby” or “bye baby"; he also is currently eating more solids than before. Nancy is truly an angel. I wish we had met her sooner and we are so honored to have her now. Shout out to the assistants and students that have made our experience an amazing one, as well! They are extremely professional, encouraging, and love my son to pieces. I highly recommend Sunny Steps. They have helped my son tremendously. "

"I would recommend Nancy and her team to anyone who has children/grandchildren with developmental delays. They are very compassionate, understanding and helpful. My granddaughter loved her sessions and didn’t want to leave. My granddaughter went to Nancy for a year plus and improved greatly.
